The Miller's tale is "quite" ( 😛 ...Does anyone besides me get that joke?) interesting....After all, who doesn't like to sleep in a tub?

I get it, I get it...Funniest tale ever, man!

King Arthur and his knights get my vote, of course. Beowulf is great, and so is the Niebelungenlied, but I don't think that Beowulf or Siegfried will ever be as well-recognized as Arthur. Also, I believe that the Volsungasaga or whatever is older than the Niebelungenlied and should have been put there instead.

How dare you! Such excellent choices....I find it hard to choose....
But, seeing as Béowulf was the first true piece of English poetry, I have to give it the nod.

The Nibelungenlied? I've personally never had much like for it....Siegfried seems too....I don't know....
I prefer by far what I've read of the Völsunga Saga....

Malory's Le Morte d'Arthur is indeed a classic, but is too Frenchified for my tastes....I prefer the Welsh and Saxon allusions....😛

[NOTE: The recent Béowulf movie was horrible, DO NOT SEE IT! I can only hope that the CG-version (feat. Angelia Jolie) is better....]
