I was pretty much over the game by the time you fought normal Wesker. The super Wesker in the lava was just doubly stupid. Actually was a terrible and lazy boss fight.

I honestly can't remember the last time a game impressed me with a boss fight. Maybe Crysis just because it looked so incredible, but even the mechanics of that one were lame.

As of late, I'm much more impressed (and sometimes overwhelmed) by the before-last boss than final bosses in most games lately 😬

Ive honestly found that to be a trend in most games.. not just lately. (granted there are a few rare gems where this doesnt happen)... but the next to last boss fight is usually a bastard... and then the final boss is just... there for you to kill

though if you think about it.. O.Wesker should have been the most ridiculous considering what he was capable of

Same here, needless to say. I'll be disappointed if the only new characters we get in the female department are just more alternative looks for Jill and Sheva, but at the same time, probably wouldn't be surprised either.

maybe something better for chris.. the safari outfit was lame imo.. but I loved the stars outfit throwback...also.. the chain gun was lame as hell.. I'd prefer that both characters get something so interesting and skillful like the longbow

The safari one was probably my favorite outfit of Chris's, ironically. Mainly for its hilarity value, especially when you first see it, and Safari Chris has got the double Rocket Launchers in mercs/versus. 😎

I guess I agree about the chain-gun though... Meh.

Man, I haven't played this game in almost 3 months. I forgot how intense it is on Professional Mode! I started a new game, from scratch, with no weapons or upgrades on normal mode. It's too much fun.

What is this I hear about a Gold Edition? Will it be available as DLC or will you have to buy a whole new disc?

The new disc will be released in Japan (at least for now) but it's DLC everywhere.

The two new chapters better be good.
