Shugo stood up and looked as he watched a boat pass by. Rena stood up and walked beside him. "This feels so strange. To be talking to you again, Rena. Three months after you left." Rena looked at the boat closer. "Have you been eating right?" Shugo surprised by her question. "Eh? I'm fine." He smiled putting his hand on his cheek and tilting his head. "I've gotten pretty good at cooking." Rena looked at him smiling. Shugo took his hand off his cheek and looked her her. "What about you? Is mom busy with work?" Rena looked back at the lake. "Yes... No problems." Shugo kept his eyes on Rena. "I see." He then turned back to the lake. "Well. Since we're logged in...why don't we go somewhere?" Shugo turned around walking away. Rena looked down. "But it's kinda fun this way, too. Shugo a few ft away. "Eh? What?" Rena turned around running to Shugo. Shugo turned around looking for Alex and Kei. "Eh? Alex? Kei?" He said yelling looking for them in the crowd. "No!" Rena said worried running thru the crowd with Shugo. "We were just by them a moment ago how could we have gone so far?" Shugo said looking around.

Renamon was sitting on a crate. she looked at the two and shook her head. she stood up and walked over to shugo amd rena "If.. im correct, you two are supposed to be with alex?" she asked "It isnt smart to wander off." she smiled at them

(Keiji and Lance are two character created for the previous .hack// RPG. In this RPG, though, they're senior members and were alpha-testers of the game. Due to their input, they were allowed to keep their game characters and were endowed with some special abilities. They are search for Black Rose and Kite, who, it is rumored, have returned to the World.

Rei and Alex, also senior members [probably a couple of years into the game], are the only two people who know that Shugo and Rena are Kite and Black Rose. Due to one of Rei's weird prophecies, they've decided to protect the kids, until Shugo and Rena can manage on their own.

The reason why everyone wants Shugo and Rena?
Alex and Rei obviously want to protect them, Keiji and Lance's objective is unknown. You know, people become famous when they kill someone big.....

Everyone is currently in the contest area. And Shugo and Rena are looking for Alex and Kei.)

Shugo jumped back pulling out his Dagger like Kantana's. Rena surprised at what Shugo did. Shugo pushed her behind him. "Remember. Alex and Kei what they said don't trust anyone. Anyone can be trying to get us." He said in a low voice to Rena. "But..." "Rena pay attention somthing can happen any moment." Shugo said holding his Dagger like Kantana's up and taking a few steps back.

Shinobi walked up to the participant desk "May I help you?" Woman asked "I want to join in gladiators" Shinobi said. "Alright may I have you name?" Woman asked "Shinobi the silent judgement that's all you need to know" Shinobi said. "Alright you may enter the gladiators" Woman said and opened the door to the waiting room Shinobi looked around there was lot of fighters there. "I see that all of them are very pethdic" Shinobi said to himself and went through the door "Alright we have a new participent today! His name is Shinobi!" Man yelled and everyone cheered. "Alright now begin the fight!!" Man yelled as the cage opened with a bunch of fighters.

Renamon sighed and put her hand to her head "I'm just sayin' you should be with alex." she looked at shugo "and put down the dagger, you have it out for no reason."

Shugo kept his Daggers up. "How do you know about Alex?" He said tilting his head in confusion. Rena looked to Renamon to Shugo.

Shinobi charged at fighters in fast pace "So..fast!" Fighters yelled Shinobi punched one of the fighter's face sending him to the wall. "This is my chance!" One of them yelled they tried to mace Shiobi but he blocked it with his hand. "You fight with weapons?" Shinobi asked he kicked the heavy one out of the ring then one with the sword charged at Shinobi trying to stab him but he quickly doged the swordsman and as he bounced he kicked and punched him at fast pace seriously wounding him. "Winner is Shinobi the silent judgement!!" Man yelled

Renamon sighed "I met him the other day. He said he was protecting you two." she said, adjusting her arm guard "and then, he gets paid to try to take out a good friend of mine, and me my frind, and him got into it. im guessing we lost... but either way, if you two wanna be out in the open by yourselves, good luck" she smiled at them and sat down.

Shinobi kicked through the door everyone looked at him with a scare "..................." He sat next to Renamon which she looked very calm. He didn't really care about anyone long as he won this gladiators contest then he looked at the one with a dagger "Why do you have dagger out? Trying to assassinate someone?" Shinobi asked his next match was in about a day

Shugo smiled a mindless smile. And turned to Rena. "We do need someone to protect us." He walked next to Renamon and sat down. Rena sat next to Shugo. Shugo lookedup at Shinobi. "No i'm not trying to kill anyone. And Alex wouldn't do something like that." Rena looked at Shinobi and blushed.

Renamon shook her head "He is a mercinary, paid to im guesssing delete characters. Josh paid him double what he was paid and we ended up fighting." she said. she turned to shinobi and rolled her eyes "Hey hotshot, dont get to cocky.

Shugo confused. "Mercinary? Alex? Josh? Delete?" He said shaking his head. "Then why is Alex protecting us? And who is Josh?"

Shinobi looked at Rena "My name is Shinobi you?" He asked as he smiled a little with his crimson red eyes. "Yo Shinobi you got to rest you got a match tommrow" soldier said and walked away "I better go bye" Shinobi bid goodbye to Rena and walked away to the Inn. "Ughhh I have match with him tommrow Im doomed" Soldier said as he sat down

Rena stood up and took a few steps toward Shinobi. "I'm Rena. Good luck and and i'll come and see your match." She said her Purple eyes glistened as her cheeks stayed pink. Shugo looking at Shinobi. "Hey you better walk off! Stud. Rena we're talking important buisness here." He said getting mad but trying not to show it.

Rena and Shugo both looked at Renamon. "No it's our real names when we're out of the world." They said confused at what she said. "And i would like to to meet him it's ok." He said thinking maybe he can help.

"Renamon smiled and shook her head. "Sorry, your names dont match your character in any way. and you would like to meet him? hold on just a second." renamon took off her ying yang ring "Watch this" she turned the ying yang simbol and josh walked up. "Somethin wrong?" he asked, looking around
"No, these two just wanted to meet you" renamon smiled
"Look foxie, as much as i would love to chat, i am trying to find out more on this prophecy thing." he said.
