while blatant, flagrant and relatively pointless nudity is rather intrusive, the opposite could be considered equally offensive. the female body has long been held in a revered state, as if it should be covered or hidden. i know various religious groups and other sets of beliefs hold that to be a law, but as a mainline culture with no distinct religion, it's somewhat assuming, and almost oppressive, to condemn or demonize the sight of the female body. why should a woman, particularly a role model such as a superheroine, be held to a standard she may not believe in? why should society as a whole, fictional or otherwise, hold her to said standard?
then again, america's always had the judeo-christian undertone when it comes to what is and is not acceptable, so i suppose it's a moot point. and "sexual liberation" such as that personified by certain pop culture icons is bullshit. so i guess i didn't even have a point to be made moot.
Ever read Modesty Blaise? She used to have this one move called "The Nailer", where she would walk into a room filled with bad guys - topless. The instant it would take the guys to recover from the shock (and let's face it - AWE! 😱 ) would give her enough of an edge to take them all out, as their reactions would be frozen for that vital second or two.
Ha - so maybe Wonder Woman and the other semi-nude beauties are actually not so stupid, walking around semi-naked?

This is pathetic.
There half naked, for gods sake!
I'm pretty sure, nobody, takes them and rubs one off... I hope.
They can always just go to a free pornsite and do that. I know, I wouldn't blast it to, a hand drawn character. (thats just me though)
Plus, you have a problem with how the women dress?
When every other male, is wearing spandex, they are unrealistically huge, Batman has a package that would put a horse to shame. They have homosexuals/lesbians, and opposite sex, getting together. But your complaining about "how revealing the womens outfits" are?
It's a comic. Plus, do you think that people want to see the real version, of what a woman that fights crime would look like, that can lift tons?
It's called fiction for a reason. You also think that characters would sell as much, if they slapped clothes on them? People want to see dream characters, and thats what gets drawn. As long as they don't take it too far, it shouldn't be a problem.
Plus, your religion, has a ban on half naked fictional characters? 🤨

Are you implying that people should complain about comics representing homosexual characters?
😐

Hulk and Wolverine end up naked every other issue.... maybe that's what attracts all the fanboys....
😛
