Damn, I gotta play some Sonic game until this comes out. I've barley played anything with him, and if I don't really like him I won't like playing as him in Brawl. So I need to get my Sonic hype up. Any games to recommend?

I would have really liked the opportunity to be able to play this over Christmas Break as well.

Being that it comes out in the middle of 2nd Semester, I'll never have time to play it and therefore probably won't purchase it until the Summer.

This goes for many other Wii titles as well.

Strictly XBOX 360 this Holiday Season b/c I always have that with me.

Heh, almost my situation.

The Wii is at my parents house, while my student flat has a X-Box 360 for games and movies. So seems like it won't be SSBB before summer.

Sonic & the Secret Rings for the Wii; if you have a DS Sonic Rush and Sonic Rush Adventure; or you can always get the Genesis Sonic games from Virtual Console; Sonic 1, Sonic 2, and Sonic 3 (Sonic & Knuckles hasn't been released yet).

New release date is February 10 2008. Oh well I knew either Mario or Smash would be delayed. At least we still have Mario coming this year.

Hopefully this delay is to make the online component as perfect as it can be. I suspect thats what it is. Maybe Nintendo is reconsidering some stuff about the online? Voice Chat maybe? Hopefully.

No more happy birthday for me 🙁 then ... but a delay to improve the game it's always welcome 😄

Nintendo Seriously needs Voice Chat. I hope this tittle supports it, or launches it...

Because...he's not? And this just occured to me. Are any of the characters seen at Smash Dojo secret characters? Think about it; would they reveal secret characters before the game is released? That would take away some thrill to the game.

the character updates that say "warning, challenger approaching" are the secret characters

and no, that isnt confirmed, but its pretty much common sense

and he had the "challenger approaching" thing on his update

If you haven't noticed only the characters who never appeared in SSB or Melee have it because they are new characters to the series.
