Hmm....Ike's entrance tantalizes my senses........Hmmm.....Seems there's more to this character than I thought. (A character who I wasn't all that particularly interested in by the way)

So let me edumacate myself by asking.................

What game(s) was Ike in and what kind of character was he? What were his abilities?

Before seeing the opening I thought Ike was just another sword Fighter like those 2 Fire Emblem Characters, who I didn't like that much, if at all.

Now it seems he may have Magic Abilities....maybe not.......

No, it's not revealing. It shows no skin at all - she's completely covered from the neck down.

That is true DOA is not know that well for it's sense of realism, or how the combos come together, or the fighting moves.

He is from Fire Emblem (Gamecube one) and has displayed some powerful magical spells ingame. Don't know if it actually went over to Brawl though.

He has that eruption attack.

It looks pretty cool.

Most likely, are you sure Ike is from Fire Emblem?

I'm actually playing this game right now, 3rd time 😄. Anyway, Ike is from Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance for the Gamecube as well as Radiant Dawn---the sequel to PoR which will be out on the Wii on the 5th of November.

Ike really doesn't have magical powers, the teleporting is actually from use of a "Powder" that supposedly drains your strength every time you use it. Ike doesn't have this in either games as far as I know.

Ike's special move in PoR is called Aether (Which is in SSBB as his up+b move). Aether is a skill that lets him activate Sol (Which drains enemy HP and adds it to his own) and Luna (Cuts enemy's defense by half) consecutively.

In the game, Ike is a Ranger and specializes in swords of all types.

I think the only way we're going to see Gannondorf is if he gets a new set of moves. And while I'm hoping for another Fire Emblem character, I'm gonna guess someone from the Starfox series...

edit - just noticed that when your playing team matches, you can select you team colour as well as the characters colour..
for example, a pink yoshi can be on green team 😄
