I never really like the fact that Snake Joined, since he isn't a Nintendo character, and hasn't been essentially adopted by Nintendo. I hope this doesn't mean that they are trying to adopt him into the fold, he's so un-nintendo.

Despite having been in Nintendo games before?

Snake's been a 'Nintendo character' for 21 years.

Just because he's been in a Nintendo game doesn't make him a Nintendo character. Were that the case then The Characters in Zombies ate my neighbors would be Nintendo Characters. Sonic may not be a Nintendo character, he is actually a Sega character, but Nintendo has adopted him into the fold, as you can see by the fact that he is begining to appear in more and more Nintendo Titles. Megaman and Mega Man X used to be Nintendo characters but were taken by those Sony Jakals.

If you think about it most (if not all) "Nintendo" Heros have a Child-like innocence and Most nintendo enemys are less Evil than that of your enemys in other games, one notable exception being Ganon.

This game has a really long Adventure mode. In Mele I could go through the adventure with every character in a few hours, this one reminds me of an improved version of Soul Calibur 2's adventure mode.

I've played as Ike and marth now and I have to say I like Marth beter, I just find him easier to use.

Yes, samus was weakened a lot

and meta knight is the new link

Meta knight is cool with his flying ability, and he's faster than link, but I just like Link far beter than meta-night. Perhaps it's my love of Zelda, but I just find him to be more useful.

What do you mean by "adopting him into the fold"? Besides, I don't see anything wrong with Snake's appearance. Also, Megaman and Megaman X weren't taken by Sony.

The only reason it seems Sonic has been "adopted" is because Sonic Team pumps out a shitty Sonic game every year.

... on nintendo systems, not to mention his recent appearance in Mario and sonic at the Olympic Games, and now this. Also the belief that he and tails were in Melee, but then again that was a rumor that got out of hand.

Either way Snake just doesn't fit the Nintendo character equation.

Just because you go along with the mistaken idea that Nintendo equals kiddy doesn't make it so.

I assume the one you're thinking of is Bowser, who I admire for being a complex "villain."

However, Ganon, Mother Brain, Ridley, Medusa, Andross, the Black Knight... all serious Nintendo villains. Bowser's brand of fun evil is by far not the norm.

The Metal Gear Solid series is practically known for Kojima's quirky humor. The Mario series in general, the Zelda series to a lesser extent, the Metroid Prime series slightly (in log entries), Earthbound, the Donkey Kong series, and even Pokemon all have their share of, guess what? Quirky humor. The Smash series is built upon the absurdity of all these Nintendo characters fighting each other.

Looks to me like Snake fits right in.

Indeed they are a serious threats to there respective series, Bowser is great because you like him and sometimes feel sorry for him, but he can be really evil.

Never said that nintendo is kiddy, I have argued against that with my anti-nintendo friends but, most of the most well known heros have an innocence to them. It is however more of a faily system than others. That's why I love Nintendo. But I do see your points and concede my argument.

I love the new special brawl system, I just played a Stamina Mega Bunny Light FAST Brawl with Link vs. Dark Link on the bridge of Eldin. It was insane!

I just completed all 20 event matches, needless to say I am alittle dissappointed in the fact that there is no major intense brawl, like the one with Giga Bowser in Melee.

beat all the events on hard

Ah, allright. makes sense. I'm just trying to beat SSE right now, this thing is long!

I was kinda dissappointed that the games are just 1:00 - 3:00 demos. Even Sonic Adventure DX had full games.

Charizard reminds me of Boweser, execpt he can fly.

You found that hard? 😬

i meant meta knight is the new link because he is over powered

I hear a small % of Wiis cant play the game, and there is a free fix to send to nintendo

They want you to download from the virtual console.

It took me awhile to beat it, yes, but then I traded Link for Jiggly Puff and it became a piece of cake.

Ah! yes, that's true.

Yea, I know. When I first saw them I thought they had just swlwcted a few full games to put with them, untill I unlocked Super Mario Bros. 2, then I was like, Yea, they can't be full games if you're gonna unlock them like this... and this easily. Then a quick look at the games confermed my assumption.

Really? I thought he moved rather easily. My only dislike is that his smash As are somewhat hard to hit with and/or delayed.
