Yeah. those three giant rings that shoot out, they can easily be dodged by doing the down evade thingy. I'm not sure what it's called but when a character does that little matrix thingy to avoid an attack and flash, do that, but press down, and your character will look like it had a heart attack for a second. Time it just right and you can avoid all three rings with no damage.

Yes, the Guard + Down evasion (aka Side-step) will cause you to be immune to the ring.. you will have to do this input for each ring individually 😛

Side-step is really one of the best forms of evasion in the game, IMO

I would suggest mastering it

Side-stepping, that's it.

I've been using Link alot lately, as I've fallen back into Twilight Princess.

Anyone hope that Sakurai caves and lets us have downloadable characters?

i do the veriety of characters now starting to bore mei want new ones to use can onle piss off friends with wario for so long...

I'd rather hope he caves and removes what took away the competetive-ness of brawl (tripping and character balance to name a few)
