Meh. Nevermind. It seems he finally posted the update (an hour later or so). Sorry for the triple-post by the way.

Anyhow, I'm rather delighted to see one of the most requested characters (in Sakurai's Japanese poll) like Ike being revealed. He was the most likely candidate from Fire Emblem anyway (besides Marth).

'tis makes me wonder how much longer it'll be until Diddy Kong, Ridley, King Dedede, and other top requested characters in Sakurai's poll will be revealed (if they've all been chosen to be playable that is)...

Overall, this is probably one of my favorite updates by far (besides the Giga Bowser one).

😕 ONLY, Mr. GAME & WATCH, ICE CLIMBERS, and YOUNG LINK from Melee are CUT. The OTHER 22 are going to be in it, plus at least 18 others.

Falco was in Melee, so yes, and we haven't even seen Ganon yet.

They haven't unveiled all the returning characters on the website yet.

He was not in melee my friend that was Marth and Roy and yes thay are sweet.

General Kaliero F = ma, beeyotches.

I believe that was meant to be "Challenger"? ermm

Anyway, the "Challenger Appears" thing is traditionally the screen that shows when you've unlocked and are about to fight someone.

But, Sakurai could just be using it for effect.

25 CHARACTERS ARE IN MELEE, 3 ARE CUT, MR. GAME & WATCH, ICE CLIMBERS, AND YOUNG LINK IS BEING REPLACED WITH WIND WAKER LINK. How difficult is this to understand?
