I doubt it BIG time. Lloyd is a Namco character whose game just didn't appear on the Gamecube but also the Playstation2 so that would have destroyed his chances. Brawl said to keep third party characters down to like two; Snake has been chosen thus far.

a good player would be Vice from skis of Arcadia... grate game but it was on the dream cast at first but I can still hope. But the game is getting closer and closer... I cant wait for it. I wounder if the new players are not unlock able but they are some of the starting players
Also, over here, the name was Vyse

Good lord. Get over the stupid Pokemon already. You're not 10, despite all evidence to the contrary.
As for the latest update, I was gleeming with joy at first when I saw Lyn, and then I almost cried. You disappoint me again, Sakurai. First making Samurai Goroh an AT, and now this...

Pokemon is technically appropriate for any age, but actually is geared toward preteens. It's a kid series, no matter who is "allowed" to play it.

I'm just happy Lyn got into the game at all. At least she looks like she'll be a good AT.
Still, I'm startin' to dislike the whole AT idea more and more. It seems it was just made up as an excuse to not have all potential/good Nintendo all-stars become playable (Samurai Goroh and Lyn definitely seemed worthy of that). That's what Super Smash Brothers is supposed to be about too... If there's a bright side to ATs though, at least it'll lead to there being less "clone" characters like Dr. Mario, Young Link, Pichu, Roy, Falco, Ganondorf (who definitely needs to be de-cloned), etc.

Meh. Point taken, I guess, but for an RPG, the games (especially the ones of today) seem too complicated to be considered only for kids/preteens. 😬
Really? Because when Red/Blue first came out I was just a little kid...third/fourth grade I believe and I had no problem playing it.
It's because of EVs, Ivs, and the huge leap in the importance of speed in this gen that pokemon has gotten more complicated. I doubt you were considering those in third/fourth grade.
I was kind of dissapointed with todays update, Lyn is my favorite fire emblem character and I was hoping she would be playable. I also don't care much for the munchlax inclusion, because if he eats my CD I'm going to be uber pissed.

I really think that's the wrong way of looking at it. ATs aren't excluding potential characters, they're including characters that didn't make the playable cut. If Lyn wasn't an AT, she still wouldn't be playable (I say this assuming that fully-built ATs means they already have their complete list of playables). That's why I say it's better to look at it as including a character who otherwise would not be in.

Also, ATs seem like a break from Pokeballs, really.
