*striker ran back to the cave were WC was and passed her and bit her ankle then laid down next to the other dragon*
Klisto pulled out a knife and started skinning the creature. He would need the hide for the cold winter. After a while when he as finished he started cutting the meat and gathered firewood. When he finally had a fire going he saw the majesty of the dark cave. Monstrous stalagmites and stalactites everywhere.
Osthato Chetowa awoke, shaking his neck from left to right to remove the icicles that had formed on his white scales. He yawned letting out a low rumbling noise. All other dragons, old and young, always refereed to this as the "awakening" call. It was their form of an alarm for the rising sun. Although each one of them carried a deep loathe for Osthato Chetowa, they couldn't help but appreciate the gesture.
This is due to the fact that the mountain range ends with the taller mountains towards the east. Which would mean that by the time they would notice the sun, if there were no dragons on a very high peak, the day would have already escaped them. Because Osthato Chetowa was the largest dragon in the located region, and the strongest, he always had first hunt. This put the dragons at a disadvantage because Osthato Chetowa has no earthly fill. At times he can wipe out an entire kingdom and not return until sundown. However this lack of control is suppressed from Osthato Chetowa's moral fortitude and his recognition of his present predicament.
This morning was different. This morning he still smelled the scent of human. Although not full of rage, but rather annoyance, he descended the mountain in slow gliding circles. When he finally reached the cave he had descended upon late the previous day, he found footsteps of both humans and dragons. This is an abomination, he thought to himself. He rumbled again, the noise shaking the cave so that small dusts and rocks fell from the ceiling and walls. Come out dwellers of the cave...
[]MY GAWD... My friend came over for two freakin days and didn't want to go home >_< GAH! Im a bit behind, forgive me if I do anything wrong []
Hellflame watched a human mother and her children walk towards the grazing cattle below her. The black dragon sighed and made a quick decision not to eat tonight.
The dragon puffed out her chest, then let out a ferocious roar, scaring away the humans below. After the sound had finished echoing off of the surrounding mountain sides, Hellflame stood and sluggishly moved away from the cliffs edge.
She could hear dragons in the distance, and this worried her. Another dragon always ment a fight; either for food or for something she had done in the past.
Hellflame stood rigid and listened carefully. The other dragon was not far off, but still not close enough to present a threat. She let out another roar, this one louder than before. It would usually ward off any potential danger. From far away she sounded much, much bigger than she really was.
Osthato Chetowa heard the low rumbling, and met it with one of high pitch and concentration. This was to either establish whether the sound bearer was friend or foe. This clarification would still be met with the same hostile and territorial response from Osthato Chetowa.
Osthato Chetowa detached from the side of the mountain and began hovering in the air sending shrieks every four seconds.
It was late in the evening when she looked up at the mountain to look at the view. Something caught her attention. It was a figure that was near the side of a mountain, and she could hear the cry of it from where she stood. Panic covered her body, trying to figure out what to do. Was it in trouble, or was it hunting? Alra could not say for certain. After a few seconds of deliboration, she decided to go near it.
