He is a great villian. No stupid plots, armor, high tech.

His "new" wife that it was revealed he had in the years he couldn't remember, till now. Also alot of his close Madripoor friends were killed.

I think alot of the characters who have their own solo series will have had alot of people close to them die. Aquaman's had tons. Most notably Athur Jr., his son.
