That's a bit unfair don't you think? I for one believe that the powers that he absorbed is what made him so freakin powerful.(Darwin in particular)
His Advanced Adaptation ability has really impressed me.
He's able to survive anything.

And about the burn out thing, Darwins abilities prevent Gabriel from burning out.

But now that Vulcan has lost this ability he is serverely weakend.(Which is GOOD) He is vulnerable to most things now.

As for this match up, Vulcan manipulates energy(He has shut down a Phoenix Fragment, which shouldn't have happened.)

Hals ring is energy related, Vulcan should take this.(With or Without the Stolen powers). It doesn't come down to whose will is stronger, it comes down to whose powers can manipulate whose. Hal has so many different types of energies running through.(From Kinetic to Biological)

I have read the entire series so don't say I lack information. As from what we have seen he isn't that impressive, he doesn't have the feats to back up his claims and so far he is all hype and now he lost Darwin is much weaker. So is this current Vulcan or Vulcan with Darwin that has a better chance?
