Pretty good, weathers been crap. One minute it's sunny ,next minute it's pissing down.
I'm currently indecisive, I don't know whether to start buying WH40K stuff, it's a problem I have.
I started on Warhammer, got bored after the rules seemed overcomplicated and then someone bought me lord of the rings, got bored with that as well. Now i'm looking at 40k and wondering 'Is that for me' ?

Its more free flowing than Battle and a little more in depth than LOTR, all in all if you like your games fast paced with huge amounts of firepower then its good fun.

I DO like the imagery of the Imperium , it's like a galaxy spanning crusade. I've always liked the imagery behind religion , doing anything necessary to save the pious and righteous even if it means ignoring the blatant scriptures, it has a very......grim feeling to it.
Plus the Grey Knights are awesome.
(Are the rules overcomplicated however, thats why I was turned off of Warhammer, endless rules that started getting slightly confusing...plus the need to pay £20 a pop for units was beggining to piss me off...)

The rules are as complicated as you want to make them, there is a basic set of rules for movement, shooting, assualt,etc etc and then a bunch of advanced rules you can use if you like.
The advantage it has over say Warhammer is that even though the mini's are the same price, your armies are much smaller so you buy less of them.

Plus you can play the Urban battle crap they were writing about in White Dwarf wherin you use a much smaller contingent force (like a squad sent to scout out the area)

Well, your basic army is two squads and a HQ a battleforce boxset has all that and more and is £50.
Or you just by two squad packs for £20 a piece and a HQ mini, which is slightly cheaper.
And you are good to go, the urban battle stuff is good if you can make/buy all the terrain.
Ihaven't bought a White Dwarf in years, in days gone by it used to be full of new rules, articles etc, now it just seems to be one big mag full of ads for products and if you want to know the rules for them, then you have to buy a further army book.
GW is becoming quite the rip off!
