I recently received I am Legend from the Library , i started reading it today and stopped 14 chapters later.
This. Book. Is. Awesome.
Its written in a nice informal style which worked well with my prose-addled mind that I gained from reading Lovecraft, the main character is a grim War Vet/Civilian (If a bit of a wise-ass) as he deals with a vampire apocalypse only he is immune to.
Visually I see him as a more Serious Bruce Campbell and can even hear his voice within the guys dialogue.
