for Ikaruga and Shenmue alone, I would buy a Dreamcast. .........If I didn't already have one. 😛
The Cube version of Ikaruga is crap. The idiot translators added an infinite credit option if you play long enough. WEAKLINGS! The game was one of the toughest shooters in the history of the genre and the spiritual sequal to the legendary Radiant Silvergun. And they polluted it by making it so any n00b can complete it.
In the DC version, you only get 4 credits, 2-3 lifes each.
