Look it up in ICS It States "The very name of these rolling Giants calls up memories of the crushing Defeat for the Galaxy's QUINTILLIONS of battle droids and their Separatist Masters."

http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Droid_Army Look at what it states

CIS takes this easily. Just too many droids, and GG is too good of a commander. Just WAY too many. If Sidious hadn't been manipulating the war, the Republic would have been PWND. Everyone smart here knows the CIS could have PWND the Republic so badly, it wouldn't be funny.

Thank You

😄 Seriously, the clones are outnumbed worse than 10:1. 1 Super Battle Droid can take 1 clone trooper. The CIS is far superior in space, with tri-fighters and vulture droids that have WAY faster reflexes than any clone. There's no way the Republic has even a remote chance.

Yup

The CIS would have won. The Republic had 200,000 clones ready at the beggining of the Clone Wars. They also said during the movie that there were a million more coming. I read on some site that there was a million more DIVISIONS coming, not clones. So in US Army standards, a DIVISION is worth around 15,000 people. 15,000. Still, 15,000 times 1,000,000 is 15,000,000,000. 15 billion clones vs. quintillions of droids, according to the Wookiepedia...

It's better than 1.2 million clones vs. quintillions of droids. A quintillion, if you don't know, is 1000 quadrillion, and 1 quadrillion is 1000 trillion. Several quintillion droids is at least two or three to four or five, six or seven, eight or nine and so on.

The Republic won the clone wars not because they were better, but because they were smarter. They didn't only have clones on their side, but they had Jedi as well as tribes like the Wookies on Kashyyyk - SW3, and the Gungans on Naboo - SW1...

CIS lost the Battle Of Geonesis, for example, because they were getting beaten with extra support like Jedi, air support/low altitude space craft, as well as artillery, like those big spider type walk things that fire heavy bolts of electricity, the ones that fired at those big ball Federation Starships and brought them down, causing a dust storm.

If you were listening correctly, Viceroy Gunray said something like "We should send all available droids into battle." and Count Dooku responded with something like "There are TOO MANY."

There were too many droids to be sent out all at one time. Another thing also happened that got rid of the Droid Army for good...

That thing was when Emperor Palpatine ordered Darth Vader to deactivate all the battle droids.

They would have beaten the Republic with ease but they weren't ready, no matter what people think.

The Republic had technical superiority which gave them a good chance of beating many enemies in one shot, aka something called 'Quality', and the CIS had numerical superiority, which means they had just too many droids, aka something called 'Quantity'...

No matter what anyone thinks, quantity always beats quality.

It's the same as sending out an experianced squad of 10 Navy Seals armed with high tech weapons and gadgets to go against like 250 Iraqi insurgents or angry civilians, armed with sticks, rocks, machetes, knives, or even AK-47's, the Seals would kill off at least 15-20 insurgents each before getting overrun, leaving the insurgents with 100 left if it were 15 kills each and 50 left if it were 20 kills each.

Still, even if you have 200 weak nukes capable of taking out a city block, and sent them out after miles and miles of crowds of people(more like millions, billions or trillions) armed with let's say bolt action rifles, and have a platoon of extra special Navy Seals guarding you, where you can act like something out of an action movie, arm yourself with a machinegun and wait for them to come. You'd kill off many of them but still leave alot standing.

If there was a rematch again, excluding anyone who would interfere with anything, such as Palpatine, the CIS would whoop the Republic's ass.

Sorry for swearing if you're not used to it but it's true. It's very true on the count of realism...

Although I don't know much about either side and won't take a stand in this debate yet, the Republic did have some damn good weapons against the droids. For example, they had a jammer device which stunned a whole army of droids, only about 8 ARC's and a gunship took out over 300 droids with explosives and stunned a whole army with a jammer, that's pretty good....

It is basically Dooku leading the CIS against the Republic. Also keep in mind that Sidious CANNOT manipulate the war. In fact the Dark Lords of the Sith will be changed to Dooku and Ventress. And also Palpatine is stripped of the force. He is still the Supreme Chancellor he is just no longer force sensitive. Now given all of this information who do you believe will come out the victor?

Palpatine had no real influence over the war. He had the Republic fight the CIS to see which one had the greater army and the Republic won. They would have won even if Palpatine was good.

Actually, Palpatine was in primary control of the war. He was the leader of the Republic, and he effectively controlled the CIS through his pawns - Dooku, Grievous, and the Council. He arranged for victories and defeats to be on both sides.

As to who would win, the CIS had superior numbers - but clones were more effective than droids. Suffice it to say that, by the end of the war, the Confederacy was driven to the Outer Rim by the Republic - thus signifying at least a minimal advantage for the Republic.

Also - despite Palpatine's manipulations and deceit, since he was not a dictator at the time - the Senate and the Jedi often acted as foils for his plans, sometimes winning battles that he wanted the Confederacy to win, or authorizing missions and assignments that gave the Republic an advantage.

The Confederacy got owned in the Battle of Coruscant and in the Battle of Geonosis at any rate.

I think it's a good, good fight. But I believe that the Confederacy would still lose to the Republic.

More often than not, though, Palpatine had the Senate under his thumb. Despite the League of 2000 or whatever that was called, the Senate was still, for the majority, completely supportive of Palpatine's ideas. Anyone who got too close to messing up him usually died. Such as the Jedi Ronhar Kim, who said that they should test everyone in the Senate for Midichlorian count...

Anyways. This is a difficult decision. It's unsure how much longer the war would have gone on had the events of Ep3 had not taken place (death of the Ruling Council, shut down the droids, Republic dissolved...).
