Bomberman is at a big disadvantage here. Mega Man, at full power, simply has too many options: strength, defenses, and powers. He can fly, utilizing the Super Mega Man armor, and can take out Bomberman anywhere in the maze with the Astro Crush, Centaur Flash, or sheet Lightning Bolt.
Bomberman's a resourceful character, but he can't match Mega Man's offense or maneuverability.
