Except Thor killed him 😐
You do realize he had an entire team, Loki, amped norn stones power up, etc. to aid him, right ?
You do realize the writer himself confirmed the only reason he didn't come back was because he didn't want to, right ?

So don't throw around character levels based on intent against someone who is supposed to be a be all end all threat who has on panel faced down things that would rapestomp void based on his on panel stuff. If you want to discount his high end feats like you usually do and try and lowball I counter argue against void's jobbing Molecule Man event and the damn Helicarrier being enough to take him out even when Thor was launching full powered shots to his grill that would have utterly shattered the Helicarrier into billions of tiny little pieces.

This only pertains to dc characters not marvel ones.
The abilities the Void possesses on top of Prime's fear of darkness make this child's play and unfair for someone of Prime's psyche.
Void came back from complete destruction whereas Prime cannot. Prime's been defeated by multiple flashes and one guardian. Prime cannot resist his mm powers. Case and point.

Originally posted by keiththegreatI'm talking about both the times Void stomped the New Avengers, the FF, the Astonishing X-Men, the Inhumans, and Dr. Strange and when he stomped the New Avengers, Mighty Avengers, Young Avengers, the Secret Warriors and Loki. And during Siege all the super-villains high-tailed it out of there as soon as Void busted out in full. Don't even pretend that Void had the same level of interference/support that Superman Prime did during Sinestro Corps War or Legion of Three Worlds when Void stomped on everyone instantaneously during Siege.
The team Void "took on" (and lost to btw) had one herald level character on it (who had just gotten his ass kicked by the U-Foes and the Initiative, so he wasn't even in the best of shape during the fight). The rest of the team was mainly street level. And Void wasn't exactly by himself either (looked like there were more heroes/villains on his side than the other way around).
Originally posted by keiththegreatThis Superman-2 = pre-Crisis Kryptonian horsecrap has already been deconstructed. Kal-L was a physical peer of Kal-El in Infinite Crisis. All the heroes who were taking on Superman Prime during the Sinestro Corps War and Legion of Three Worlds were simultaneously dealing with the entire Sinestro Corps or Legion of Super-Villains between the scenes.
And you're only bringing up one instance of Prime having back up, how many times has he not had back up? Who helped him kill 32 GLs, and beat a Pre-Crisis Kryptonian to death? Or helped him fight the entire JLA (plus a lot more heroes) by himself, and then kick the sh** out of a Daxamite with a GL ring and the Ion power?
