Ok here goes, first of all I sent him and a few of my other favorite artists like Jim Lee, Dale Keown and Eric Larsen one of their comics to see if I could get a signature. I sent a nice note as to why I liked their work and if they would be kind enough to sign it for me, I included an envelope to mail the comic back with all postage already paid and the envelope already filled out. So all they had to do is sign and put it in the mail. I got them back from Dale and Eric signed and didn’t get the signature from Jim but his assistant hand signed a post card saying that he appreciated his fans but doesn’t have time to sign all of the requests. As for the one I sent Todd, well I never got it back.
Another time is one of my friends that lives in Chandler, AZ is a reported for the local paper and (at the time) Todd lived in Chandler. My friend got an interview with him and went out to do the interview and basically what happened is Todd handed him some paper and said that this is what you are going to write about me and then left. My friend was a fan of him at the time and was really looking forward to talking with him and that just went out the window.
