Seven Swords - Fight montage

The film didnt get the greatest reviews in the UK but it was widely regarded as having some of the best fight scenes of it's genre. Better than Hero, Crouching Tiger, Flying Daggers, Kung Fo Tussle etc.

Better than Hero? I prefered the fight sequences in Hero, and the others you mentioned over Seven Swords. Still Seven Swords was decent though.

Hero was a great film, but wasnt true to the original martial arts genre i think..it was created with a Western audience in mind. Nothing wrong with that as sometimes it makes it more watchable.

Just felt Seven Swords had a touch or originality about it.
