I am one of those people who watch a movie but somethings brother me and I can't stand it or have to speak about it.Such as it being too violence to a point that it is stupid!
I guess I am abit of a movie critic!Anywho why anyone had said this movie has anything to do with Bush is just plain stupid.Like you said it did happen so why put the president in it?It seem such a waste of time to blame everything on a president but I guess that is what Dems do best!jm 🙂

ok lets not get pissed at each other although i do agree with you. as for the underlying theme occuring 2700 years ago, i didn't know that events had themes. usually themes are found in works of art. i have never read the graphic novel and so i don't know how accurate the film is. i suspect that the graphic novel does not have anything to do with George W and any conservative views(if there are any) of the film were put there buy the writers or director. i wouldn't trust the director with his answer. it's not like he'd admit to it if it was true.

it was 1st published in 1998...therefore written before that...Bush never got into power until 2000...and never went into afghanistan until 2002 and iraq in 2003...so how it could be a metaphor for stuff that hadn't happened yet i'll never know.

Don´t normally like sad movies where everyone dies at the end, but this was brilliant just for the action and epic visuals.
