Even though Thanos is probably almost physically as strong as juggernaut he can not really hurt him. So if it was purely 1 vs 1 with hand to hand, Thanos would lose ...
On the other hand, why would Thanos fight him in close combat, Thanos would mindrape Juggernaut or somehow take the gem of Cyttorak ... and discard it, because it is so useless ...

I was with you on the first part mostly, but you lost me on the second. Thanos can't do anything to the Gem nor can he take it from him. The rules state that this is a strict h2h fight, no telepathy or anything.

Well, I pointed out that Thanos would lose with these restrictions, but without the restrictions Thanos would win easily...
