Eh, maybe, but I'd like to see some feats to confirm that. Otherwise, it's just speculation.
Good point, I suppose they could keep her in the same semi-depowered state she's been in for the last couple of years even after Infinite Crisis. Hopefully, DC will make her current power-level clear soon.

He manages to take out Surfer in a Double KO, but this could be considered a low showing for Norrin.
Yes...these are the scans I've seen before. IM really doesn't defeat Surfer, not in the conventional sense; it's more of a conditional stalemate, largely dependent on how Surfer chose to respond to IM in this instance. No disrespect to Shellhead, but this reminds me of how/when Spider-Man "beat" Firelord.
Anyway, to return to topic (sorta); if anyone knows a good site where Extremis armor (or even Hulkbuster or Thorbuster armor) is profiled, please post.

Again, besides the obscure "moving the moon" feat, she has no real feats that put her near the power level of Superman. And I feel it's possible for current Iron Man to give top-tiers like Superman or Thor a fight, but there aren't enough feats to confirm that either.
For example, shes:
-Knocked around Superman a bit.
-Broken Major Force's jaw.
-Threw down evenly against Black Adam
-Wrecked Mongal
-Matched Supergirl
-Matched Captain Atom HTH
I don't think that the Extremis upgrades make IM more powerful exactly. I don't think he's suddenly stronger or has better forcefields or repulsors than he did before. The big deal with Extremis is that he is no longer limited by his flesh in his ability to control the armor. Thanks to Extremis, Iron Man can move and react as fast as his brain can react to the input he receives from the armor's sensors, rather than being slowed by Tony's meat and bone He can absorb multiple datastreams from the armor just like we can use our multiple senses.
He's not more powerful, just more effective.
Could he beat Power Girl? I'd say not likely but not impossable either. Tony plays over his head fairly often. I guess that's what being both smart and powerful is good for. When he is overmatched in the power department, he often finds a creative solution.

Knocking around Superman isn't something new; Batman's done it quite a few times. And She attacked Supergirl first who pretty much was confused what was going on and still kicked her ass. I'm pretty sure that's how the fight went with Captain Atom if I recall correctly.
EVERY ONE has high showings, but PG hasn't done anything that would make me decisively put her above Iron Man.

Good point. That's why I sorta regard him as Marvel's Batman.
On the other hand, considering how quickly the Super crowd can move, and by comparison how slowly nerve impulses travel, hopefully the Etremis armor, in some way, accelerates those neural impulses, so he could react in time.
Originally posted by AccelAnyone who moves fast enough, has the durability and strength to blow for blow with the characters I listed, is realistically going to smash up Iron Man with little to no difficulty if he doesn't have prep. She'll just fly over and rip his puny human body in half. Or rip the armor right off of him. Or heat vision him. Or.... see how easy this is? Now, what would Iron Man winning involve?
And Iron Man also deals with heavy-hitters. As Tony Stark has said, IM has thrown down with Thor, knocked out a pissed-off Hulk, and knocked out the Silver Surfer.Knocking around Superman isn't something new; Batman's done it quite a few times. Current Iron Man is much faster than he used to be and I don't see any reason why he can't keep up with her. As I've stated before, his classic armor withstood blasts from the Silver Surfer and blows from Thor and Hulk, which leads me it's much tougher than it's given credit for.
I'm not saying he'd beat her easily, or even that he'd he necessarily beat her at all, but there's NOTHING I have seen that makes me believe she can automatically win.

I would say that it's safe to assume that he has. I would judge that by:
1 His ability to participate in an auction while still kicking C. Dynamo's behind.
2 His ability to direct the entire mob of armors against Yelena the Adaptoid.
3 The artwork in the Extremis arc also clearly showed new nerve pathways.
I think reaction time is the one thing Power Girl doesnt have over IM at this point, the whole point of hacking his body via Extremis was that he was getting speedblitzed by the other Extremis Augment. After his own augmentation, he was able to fade-away dodge many of the same opponent's attacks.
What IM has to worry about is simply being overmatched in terms of strength and durability. Could his greater versatility and ingenuity carry the day? Tough to say. I think this is one of those matchups where the specific circumstances and strategies would be a big deal.
