The Battle Bar, Our Wretched Hive of Scum and Villainy

I remember the Pokemon craze. I had some cards, the games, watched the shows.

I felt so gay.

*Pats back*

It's okay, we all fell under the spell.

I'm still under the spell apparently, 😮 .

I looked Pokemon up on Wikipedia once, determined to find out how much I've missed since I gave it up.

But then I saw that AOTC was on TV and realised that Star Wars is so much less gay.

lol, too true.

I've missed about 300 new Pokemon since I stopped playing Red/Blue.

Erm yeah. 13's about the prime age to play it. 15^ and it's a bit childish, below 11 or 12 hardly anyone is intellectual enough to play it.
Oh shi- 13 is the right age? I'm f*cking twenty and still think Yu-gi-oh has some cool cards!

Well here in the USA (Michigan), YuGiOh is officially considered You-Gay-Ho, sry if that was offensive to anyone. Where do you live Adas? Personally, I think it requires 10 year old intellect, sry 🙁 . I found Pokemon and Magic to be harder. Of course, I used to play Yu-Gi-Oh. I had an awesome Aqua deck, I'm going to sell it though...
Pokemon harder to play than Yu-Gi-Oh? WTF??

'Oh shi- 13 is the right age? I'm f*cking twenty and still think Yu-gi-oh has some cool cards!'

Oops, I didn't really mean that, I mean you get adults who play too.

'Pokemon harder to play than Yu-Gi-Oh? WTF??'

lol exactly.

Yu-Gi-Oh bores me. But it is harder to play.

Okay fine, Yu-Gi-Oh is harder. But Pokemon, unlike Yu-Gi-Oh, was a good fad. Every kid in elementary school (at least when I was in elementary) had to have a deck of Pokemon cards. Yu-Gi-Oh never reached popularity where I live. It was a bad fad, reduced your popularity.

It depends on what people think, you can either like Yu-Gi-Oh or you can hate it, and some people don't really care (that's where I fit) I think Yu-Gi-Oh is the best card game after Pokemon and it's fun, but still it has flaws...

Overlord, you're 20, but do you still play Yu-Gi-OH?

I don't exactly play it but I like the concept and the stuff depicted on the cards. I only played some yugioh game on the playstation and on emulators. But I read the original manga's especially.

Though it never was a fad in my country aswell..
I don't really care though, whether something is popular or not.

In Miami it was huge.

I heard it was huge in Switserland aswell! drool

My friend moved to Miami when my friends just stopped playing Yu-Gi-Oh couple years back. He gave his cards (he thought he didn't need them) and then the next message he sends from Miami is "I NEED MY YU-GI-OH CARDS BACK, A LOT OF PEOPLE PLAY IT HERE" LOL!!! Do people in Miami still play it?

Well I don't know whether it was too big in Miami as a whole, but in my school it was huge. I now live in London so I don't know.

It's still somewhat popular over here in California. I have no idea why. It's been around since Pokemon.

REX, I have asked you this thousands of tiems, but...

Were EXACTLY do you live?

Not house, addres. But like, state and town.

I thought he lived in the UK.

nah, I always knew he lived in the *coughsuperiorcough* U.S., I just don't knwo what state..

He lives in Adventville, Motoko. Nice, quaint town. Not surprising, but I keep him locked in my basement chained to the wall, with only a 1993 computer that has Windows 98. I'm so totally evil.
