Actually, under real world circumstances, she could have been tried and executed for high treason.

But I seriously doubt the Senate has the balls for that kind of thing. They miiiiiiiight get around to doing it in a few years or so.

Naturally, Palpatine wouldn't let it happen because she is the lever with which he eventually plans on pushing Anakin to the dark side.

That said, he's probably looking forward to the day he can strangle her with his bare hands. {Unfortunately, it's not mean to be.}

You win some you lose some.

Not if you're Grievous.

Spoiler:
Which leads me to the most hilarious moment of the entire episode: Sidious tells Dooku that Grievous must not remain captive, for he "plays an intricate role in my plan for the Clone Wars."

haermm

What role? What role could Grievous possibly fill that no one else could?

Comic relief?

Are you suggesting that he's deliberately keeping him alive for amusement?

Sometimes Sidious just kicks back on a Sunday and watches Grevious try to think. He probably records his troop movements and battle strategies as a pick-me-up. Something to laugh at the end of a hard day. 'Grevious got his ass kicked by a Gungan?! Lulz wat a noob!'

Sidious gets his jollies on a galactic level and Grevious is his personal jester.

So Sidious is... trolling the galaxy?

Whats the point of being the Dark Lord of the Sith without some perks?

I turned it off once Jar-Jar started talking.

Skip to the duel between Dooku and Anakin. It's excellent and the only highlight of the episode.

What time is it on the video? I'll skip to that.

edit- nevermind found it.

Its not available outside the USA.

I hate it when that happens. 🙁

You can't access the website?

I can't watch the episode.

The duel was good, yeah. And the animation's always been excellent.

I haven't seen a whole lot of episodes, but personally I've always liked the episodes that had a lot to do with the clones.

As far as writing goes, the writing does tend to suck... however that seems to be a really common complaint with Star Wars media in general. I reread TotJ yesterday and my god it's ****ing awful. The dialogue is so horrible and cheesy.

Yeah, this episode in particular was astounding in the weakness of its dialogue.

Anakin's definitely beefed up in terms of skill and power, tho.

Dooku has to be one of the biggest dumbasses in the history of SW... He is confident that he can defeat both Kenobi and Anakin, yet he becomes exhausted after dueling Anakin while being supported by four super elite Magnadroids...
