Only because you are a servant of Lord Modius, like all of us. 🙁

And I should stop. 'Cause you never say hi to me. I'm pretty much thinking that you hate me.

This thread is now about broccoli.

...no... =REX=

...there's a Music forum, have fun.

The name of the song is bump bump bump..
Didn't get it?

I get it, but there's a lack of caring. doped

Well can you at least unedit my post?

Lemme predict his answer...

No.

Now go reply to the Legacy thread, Nebaris.

I've started reading the old republic comics, and Im going to reaad every comic up to the Legacy ones.

Quite an undertaking, Blax. Good luck.

Meanwhile, as an undertaking of my own, entirely out of school break boredom...

I'm translating the Obsession comics into novel form. Anyone care for a snippet of what I've done so far?

Maybe I do. Btw Rex, is there a limit how much times I can change my name?

Nope.

Sure Rex, why not, I enjoyed your http://www.killermovies.com/forums/f53/t316397.html, it was good stuff.

And Blax, I suggest skipping most of the post PT comics, they're boring like hell, however I'd suggest Dark Empire 1, Dark Empire 2, Empire's End, Crimson Empire, Jedi Academy: Leviathan and of course, Legacy, but that's it.

As for the OR comics, Golden Age of the Sith and The Fall of the Sith Empire kinda sucked real bad, but the rest is amazing, Ulic Quel-Droma is like the best character ever.

Alrighty, enjoy.

The planet Trigalis in the Outer Rim. Five months before the Battle of Coruscant.

Just a little further...

Typically the uninhabitable swamps of Trigalis were silent, but for the few encampments of outcasts that lived off of muggings they performed on passersby. These marshlands stretched for miles around New Coronet, the capitol of the Corellian colony, teeming with threatening thieves and intimidating creatures.

Today, however, the thieves had not come across easy pickings.

Whisking around a bend in the river, a swoop and rider came roaring across the water as it made for New Coronet. A gang of thieves on battered swoops clumsily made the turn, almost colliding with the trees at the far side but managing to maintain control. The Rider, wearing protective gear that covered his body and a brown cloak, seemed to possess near-perfect control of the vehicle as he made ridiculous turns and kept the swoop thieves at bay.

But keeping them at bay was not enough.

Let’s try this... As the Rider reached into his cloak, one of the swoop thieves poured on the gas and shot forwards. Hoping to take advantage of the Rider’s distraction, the thief pulled a large pistol on him as he closed the gap.

Five seconds should do it.

Before the thief could pull up alongside him, the Rider turned and flung a timed explosive device behind him. It hit the swoop gangster full in the jaw, possibly breaking it before detonating in his face. The swoop and the thief were consumed in the blast, the wreckage sinking into the swamp.

Six down, two to go...

Behind him, the remaining pair of thieves were having second thoughts about attempting to mug this particular traveler.

“This bastard’s wrecked six swoops today!” one of the thieves, a Barabel, shouted across to his Green Nikto companion. “Whatever he’s got, it ain’t worth that much!”

“He’s got a laser sword!” The Nikto fired a shot at the Rider. A terrible shot; the bolt fizzled into the water. “I seen it! That’d buy us a whole fleet of swoops!”

The pair continued to open fire on the Rider as the high speed chase took them out of the deeper swamp. As the trees thinned, the towers of New Coronet could be seen jutting out from swamp, a testament to Corellian architecture as well as Outer Rim corruption.

One last obstacle remained before the Rider could enter the city, in the form of a rickety bridge that crossed the river. With a shout of “Move!” he performed a risky maneuver. Tilting the swoop onto its side, the water less than an inch from his face, the Rider aimed the swoop underneath the bridge...and cleared it.

“We can’t make...!” the Barabel tried to shout as his Nikto companion just barely followed the Rider under the bridge. The Barabel was not so lucky; his swoop collided with the bridge and exploded as it skipped across the water in fragments.

The Rider performed a sharp turn that slanted the swoop sideways, giving him a view of the terrible blast. The bridge had collapsed, giving him a path up onto land, but first he would have to avoid the Nikto. Revving the engine, he shot back towards the bridge, past the Nikto, and up onto land. The Nikto, as ever, only barely followed.

“Oh no you don’t!” In a volley of shots, the Nikto finally stopped his target. It was a lucky shot- though, there’s no such thing as luck- as a bolt tore into the fuel tank of the Rider’s swoop with a bang.

Flipping forwards over the front of the ignited swoop, the Rider landed on his feet and reached into his cloak for a cylindrical object. With the press of a button, a shaft of scintillating blue energy extended from the cylinder- an elegant Jedi lightsaber. Turning to face the oncoming swoop, he flicked his blade forwards to deflect another volley from the Nikto. Onlookers watched as the swoop closed on the Rider, the Nikto intending to skewer him upon the control vanes of his vehicle...

And then, suddenly, it was over. The Rider timed his move well; a simple sidestep removed him from the reach of the control vanes, and an effortless sweep of the lightsaber bisected the Nikto at the waist as he passed. The torso toppled off while the swoop went careening back into the swamp and smashed against an old tree.

The Rider lowered his weapon. “Close call,” he uttered, his tone nonchalant, his voice garbled by the mask. He then turned to walk into New Coronet. “Oh.” A group of armed beings- about half a dozen- had gathered around him. “Well, hello! More thieves, I presume?”

“Local tax collectors,” a rather scabby human spoke up, raising an impressively large pistol towards the Rider‘s head. “Your credits and your ‘saber. We want ‘em.”

The Rider gestured to the flaming wreckage of the last two swoop riders. “So did they.”

“I think Black Sun assassins are a tad more dangerous than swamp rats, lad.”

“Let’s find out.”

DE got on my nerves. Crimson Empire, I will agree, is excellent.

lol, yeah right, don't pretend you're not in love with DE Sidious. 😛

This is another example of your lack of attention span. I argue for Sidious because I enjoy Sidious's character, and the issue of "the strongest Sith" has been a complicated one, hence why I devote my time to debating it.

I have argued before that DE is awful. The storyline completely cheapens Anakin's sacrifice and Luke's decision to reject Sith teachings. The artwork is ridiculous, and the Force Storm was the primary example of the Force being turned into Harry Potter-level magic, when it was never supposed to be.

Luke's decision to reject Sith teachings.

Not really, the situation in DE was a completely different ballgame to the situation in RotJ. In RotJ, there was nothing really pushing him to the darkside, in DE, he believed he thought he was facing an immortal enemy, and that he couldn't do anything to stop Palpatine.

And please, if you're so against the force storm, why do you constantly over-exaggerate its capabilities? But sure, I'll believe that you dislike DE. 🙄
