Eh, preferred status is easily acquired and I already qualify. If subs get that much more of a boost, plus the normal boost once the event is over, it shaves off a fair bit of grinding.

Yup. For the next 5 days. Subs get 200% extra, that's not adding XP boosts on that.

So if you use a 1/3-hour boost thats...

200% for Double XP.
25 x 2 for Double XP.

250% faster levelling all around.
Madness. I mean, considering we already get 25% more XP than Free to play people anyways.

That is pretty awesome. Time to boost.
