I often wonder if you do any actual reading of posts anymore or get a hard on to include some of your witty (lol) sarcasm. So in your words, "good god".:::waits for more sarcasm that tries to deflect from a misunderstanding of the concept in question:::
🙄
So it's just a majority of members of the Democrats that considers their supporters to be a mindless "herd of cows"? This based upon an (apparently fabricated) quote? Interesting way of...thinking? Of course that wasn't half as funny as seeing you saying "thank you" when Eminence suggested that the rather mindless rant in question sounded like something you would come up with. 😉
One could add more points to the hilarity-meter, if one was inclined to recall, that this little lesson in semantics was coming from somebody who accused me of nitpicking. 😄
And I'm waiting for your reply to our little discussion. Just if you didn't suffer from the ridiculous amount of bashing of your "intellect" that you received over the last few pages of this thread. I could understand, if it'd take 5-10 pages of spam from your side to gloss over that, before you can handle another "serious" debate. So don't worry!

You really are though.Your lack of self-awareness is infinitely amusing.

This is just wonderful rationalizing on your part, conveniently ignoring the fact that you don't know what a "general opinion" means. But I expected you to engage in some misdirection. I mean really though Nai? First you attempt to explain that not everyone in a party has a universal belief, and then when you get called out, you challenge said belief just to get yourself out of a pickle? Tisk tisk.
Amusing how you insult someone's intellect, yet don't understand simple concepts🙂
And I told you I'd get to it.

When the best you can do is Sorgo, and two other kids who go along for the ride, I think I'm fine.
I didn't expect Nai to concede with grace though because that wouldn't be like him.
Originally posted by psmith81992You know those schoolyard slugfests, where the one arrogant blowhard is surrounded by everybody, and he keeps getting kicked in the stomach, coughs up blood, and says "What, you call that a kick? Come on you pussies!" Then he throws a punch and it either misses or barely hits the others, and he quips "Yeah! Take that you retard!"
No, just Sorgo apparently. It's not much of a fight when he's joined by two fools who want to get a word in.
That's you.
In a way, it's admirable. No one likes you and everyone's against you, but you still soldier on, committed to the fight, determined that you're right and that everyone else is wrong, no matter what. And at the exact same time, it's disheartening. You wanna tell the guy he's not making any impact, you're trying to get it through to him. Trying to show him why everyone's arrayed against him, why he's wrong. But then he throws another staggered hook at the air in front of you and spits up blood on your shoes and calls it a victory. So you shake your head and resign yourself to trying one more time. Like that George Michael song.

You're rather monomodal in your way of handling arguments, aren't you?
But I expected you to engage in some misdirection.
You do realize, that it is still yourself who keeps "misdirecting" here? Just asking.

Well...if you really want to play that game, I will happily demonstrate how much you actually suck at it. Just behold this wonderful entry on Dictionary.com:
gen·er·al [jen-er-uhl]
adjective
1.
of or pertaining to all persons or things belonging to a group or category: a general meeting of the employees.
Emphasis mine. So when you called it a "general opinion", I was naturally assuming, in accordance with the nice dictionary above, that you meant that the opinion is held by "all persons [...] belonging to a group [in our example: the Democrats]". So thanks for calling me out for knowing your primary language better than you do - because, you see, "your" definition made it to the second position of the Dictionary list, meaning it is the less common one. D'uh.
Amusing how you insult someone's intellect, yet don't understand simple concepts🙂
Apparently, a different interpretation on a single word - with mine being the more accurate one, despite the fact that English isn't my primary language - is a reasonable base for assuming I don't understand simple concepts. Amusing. Especially coming from you, the epitome of intellect.
And I told you I'd get to it.
Actually, you just complained because of my late reply, unless I have missed something.

edit:
I see you conveniently left this part out:
adjective
1.
affecting or concerning all or most people, places, or things; widespread.
So in conclusion, we BOTH know I wasn't making a universal statement so semantics or nitpicking (which you have done on hundreds of occasions over the years), you're still wrong.
