I'd recommend keto if you've reach single digit body fat and are trying to squeeze the last few pounds. I've done keto but it's not something I recommend longterm. Not to mention, you can do keto on paleo.

I'd actually recommend keto for people who are quite heavily overweight and those who even wish to alter their dietary future for the long term.

Paleo is alright too. However, I'd never mix it in. It's not my thing.

I follow paleo just for the basics which are pretty self explanatory. Proteins, no processed foods, carbs from fruits/veggies, stick to complex carbs, no dessert, etc. Killer cookbooks too.

I don't advise Keto for overweight people. It's going to be impossible for them to stay on a diet that requires extremely low carb intake to reach ketosis. It's something experienced and incredibly lean people do to shed those last few pounds.

i only eat spaghetti, tacos, and pie.

what's that called?

Also single.

A balanced diet. Got all the main nutrients in there.

You tell them, Vladimir!

"I'll starve ny own people to death. That'll show 'em!"

He's not the most stable dictator out there.

So LL, do you still oppose going into Iraq and stopping ISIS? If not, how many more beheadings will it take?

I don't really care about Iraq, but ISIS needs to be wiped out just on general principle. Kill them, kill their family, kill their friends. Make it clear that we won't allow an organization like ISIS to exist. They are savages, and need to put down like savages.

I'm not sure if you're being serious or trolling me now.

No, I'm serious. Kill them all.

EDIT - There are obviously practical concerns. We wouldn't want to just say, wipe Mosul off the map since that would kill tons of innocent Iraqis. ISIS is an organization that would be difficult to root out without collateral damage, but if it could be done without too much spillover, I would be completely alright with US forces being used to wipe out ISIS. Like, ISIS isn't the kind of organization that's just going to settle for committing atrocities against their fellow Muslims. Let these savages fester long enough, and they will turn their eyes towards the west.

Wow. I guess you and I CAN agree on something.

Didn't Scenario say this exact line to you when he heard what the plot of the movie was?
Just because you didn't know that before Scenario said it doesn't mean everyone else didn't Blax.

I also think helping out the Kurds would be a worthy effort. The Kurds actually seem like they have their crap together. They also appear to be pretty decent people.

Well, I'm just concerned with ISIS for starters. I want to see if Obama has the balls to go back in there. We all know Bush would, for better or worse.

He was planning airstrikes. Yup, lets give them another region to hate us. Even if Obama routed ISIS he'd still waste billions of taxpayer dollars to do so, and another fundamentalist Islamic group will rise up to take ISIS's place.

The man is a moron.

What do you think would be a smarter alternative action for the US to take?

There is no alternative. I'd rather him waste the taxpayers money and annihilate another radical islam group. Sure it's possible that another one will take its place but sooner or later, there won't be enough people willing to die for their cause. Especially if an example is made of those who murder innocents. It has to be more than sending troops into that area. It has to be a no negotiation, "we will kill you all" tactic that's probably better suited for a guy like Bush. However, I think Obama will do it. He's done some things I was surprised and pleased over, and I don't think he has any other alternatives in this situation.

At the same time, those clamoring for us to intervene are probably the same people who always ask the rhetorical "who made the US the world police" question so who knows. I wouldn't stop until every single member of ISIS is dead and I would make it both public and brutal. That's the only thing those idiots understand.

Nah, it's pretty opposite from impossible and many overweight individuals have done it. (See the "keto" subreddit via reddit) It's not an easy diet but I'd wager there's none that is, especially for people who are overweight and are specifically used to eating what they've been eating and don't wish to compromise.

Also, for the long term? Keto is an ideal diet and one you can carry for the remainder of your lifetime. The majority of people I've encountered that combine them who started overweight often begin with keto and end with a paleolithic diet.

Over-the-top and ridiculously extreme, to be fair. I don't know if I'd necessarily even be against killing ISIS members, particularly their active fighters, but family and friends? I mean, you want savage? It's right here, what you said.
