Time to send in ground troops.

So I finished Spec Ops and moved on to the Walking Dead. Because apparently I hate happiness.

I saved the kid over the cripple. Sacrifice 4 lyfe.

Don't agree. Random ashsole journalist who volunteers to go into a warzone getting killed isn't worth starting a War over.

Echoing my thoughts in the GDF, I dunno if I particularly care about whether we go to war with ISIS or not, but if we do, I don't think this incident should be a deciding factor.

Sorry but beheading American citizens is unforgivable. There already is a war in case you didn't notice. ISIS started it and it's our job to finish it.

Beheading someone and putting it on the internet is a good reason to go to war... What they did is just unbelievably wrong.

Seems these types of groups only understand obliteration.

Personally speaking, as awful as the death is I'm not sure its wise to go to war over a dead man. What is concerning is the second captive though. We can't just let them continue to kill people without trying to do anything.

His death won't and shouldn't be a factor in starting a war. The life of one man isn't worth so much, objectively speaking.

Let's solve some of the huge problems we have a home before even thinking of thinking of thinking of going and starting another war.

👆 x2

I'm all for arming the Kurds, supporting the Iraqi military with advisers, and conducting an aerial campaign. But essentially re-invading with troops is costly and overkill. The regional powers can and will destroy IS. The Kurds have already taken back the Mosul dam and the fact that IS now feels the need to threaten/warn the West about stopping it's air attacks is proof that they can't handle them.

Full support, just no troops.

Our problems don't involve genocide so your isolationist attitude doesn't work.

Nope, our problems involve telling everyone one else around the world that we somehow know how to keep civility, peace, and prosperity, when rarely have any of these things available to most. So no, we shouldn't go start a war because a group of extremist killed someone when we can barely handle internal problems. Luckily enough, America is at least not dumb enough to go on a marathon with a broken leg.

It may be unforgivable. Unforgivable however =\= starting another costly war after just ending a prior one. If beheading some American they caught in the middle east is the worst ISIS can do, then our current strategy of bombing them with drones/air strikes and arming local resistance is a good course to stay on. The death of one American isn't worth the death of potentially hundreds more.
