Revan's alive?!

He will remain alive so that we can still have hope for a Knights Of The Old Republic 3.

with at least one participant who actively disdains philosophical inquiry

Oooh let's take a count of how many times a KMC user makes up shit on the spot!

Also, Revan is a god.

That would probably involve the recanonization of (some of?) what is now Legends property.

Do you believe there is evil?
You could have just ended your post there and my answer would still be "nope."

Just took Intro to Ethics and Applied Ethics last year myself. Not my absolute favourite modules but still, fun stuff.

Lol. You don't believe evil exists? Ok...

Moral nihilism FTW.

I didn't say intrinsically. On a macro scale, things are indeed relative but you can make universal claims about individual cases. ISIS is evil. The fact that they don't think so doesn't make the opinion subjective. Suicide bombings, using children as shields, etc.

I would say that whenever somebody feels joy at somebody else's sorrow solely for the fact that he is feeling sorrow and with sorrow being the end and not the means to something else, he is, to an extent, objectively evil at that particular moment. I believe that definition holds under the Socratic method.

What monster keeps deleting all the great new threads in the EU forum? I never got to vote, had to think.

Manliest was definitely either NemeBro or Dave btw, castrated or otherwise.

I want you to put it in me.

Meaning we can find a universal in cases. For instance, it's a universal fact that Axl Rose is a better singer than me, no matter what my gam gam says. There, no more subjectivity=

I think you're a good singer. ._.

You'd have to establish parameters.
