I'd imagine you're looking at this too much from the perspective of a Star Wars fan who's obviously heavily invested in the lore, particularly of that era, and had specific and arbitrary demands/standards for the direction of the storyline that the game ultimately didn't meet. That's fine if you want to explain why you didn't like it, but it's hardly an objective criticism of the game.
I myself am barely into act 1 of the class storylines (so no spoilers pls) but so far the storytelling has been fairly typical of a Bioware game - good voice acting, good writing, a nice expansive and epic storyline that's well paced, lots of world building and character interaction that's mostly pretty interesting etc. - and it's been pretty consistent in that kind of presentation, which for an MMO with as much content as it has, is extremely impressive. It does also have pretty good gameplay and general MMO features, and lots of cool little features like being fully voiced, and it's the first game to use choice based storytelling in a multiplayer dynamic, which adds a lot to the group content that other MMOs don't possess. And of course the production value in general is extremely high across the board. It's hardly not got any good points.

Speaking of games, replaying Final Fantasy VII has totally reminded me how good it was. Best RPG ever made. Even the random battles don't feel as annoying in the game for some reason, the main theme is sheer joy to listen to, and Aerith is possibly the most likeable character ever. There really isn't anything else out there with close to as much charm, heart and soul, and personality.
On Off-Topic yesterday, someone bumped a "gay respect thread". So someone, in jest, made a "straight respect thread", which was funny. But what was really great was the string of ridiculous respect threads being spammed across the boards.

Oh thank God. I thought you were going to use that story to pedal the anti gun agenda. It's definitely tragic but what kind of training did you receive if you leave your purse with a loaded gun within reach of your 2 year old?
