yeah but missing school tho
It generally snows from mid fall to mid spring where I live, so I generally get a grand total of 0 snow days school-wise. Even if I did get days off, snow can be extremely dangerous to drive in (actually nearly killed me the other day, was driving to Oklahoma for a marathon when the storm started), a wet/muddy pain in the ass to walk through, and really is just cold and bleak looking after a few weeks.
This is the first year I've lived here that the weather has been so merciful to only give us one weekend of snow prior to Thanksgiving--the weather has honestly been so fantastic this year in general, 40's and 50's still around... Normally low 20's are the norm about now.
I get that snow is cool/pretty/convenient in places where it's a twice-a-year kind of thing; back when I lived in Texas I used to love it, and it's still fun just to sit back and watch how much my dogs love playing in it. but honestly the lack of snow thusfar in 2015 has been a blessing on my end.
