I'm sure that "realistic" is used damn loosely, when you got people speaking klingon, a galactic person of power that is killed by a damn gun in the most anti climactic ending ever, when Spock is brought back through some memory prayer, and a man sleeps with several women with no consequences.
Also don't even bring up the Jean Luc and Kirk story,
