Whoa, wait what's Traitor Sas?
Another of Stover's. Takes place after Anakin jr's death, and follows Jacen's imprisonment by the Vong. It's written in an odd sort of way; instead of switching perspectives every other chapter like most SW books, it stays on Jacen the entire time. More than half of the book takes place in one room, with only two characters, one of which is immobile. Very dialogue centric, and if I might add, some of the deepest, most interesting dialogue in any SW book is in this novel. It explores a lot of things, from Yuuzhan Vong culture, to the nature of the Force, basic morality, and the beginnings of Jacen's transformation into Caedus.
Easily one of my top 3 favorites, along with RotS and maybe Dark Rendezvous. Having a new favorite character is virtually guaranteed after reading it, too tbh.

I'll have to endure several books for it unfortunately

Not really, it's its own thing that doesn't need much intro because of it's nature. As I said, there's basically 4 characters in the entire book, and 2 of the, are minor. It was the first NJO I read.
