Vader's the second most OP character in the game (Fated fights me on this one). You should be fine after some practice. The flow of his movements takes a bit to get used to.

Luke takes getting used to, Vader's easier than your basic troopers

Vader's easier than Boba IMO. The Emperor is shockingly weak, although I kind of like the unique move in relegating him to more of a support unit. The problem is, of course, that Leia's better than the Emperor.
