The Battle Bar, Our Wretched Hive of Scum and Villainy

Bad Westbrook showed up in this game. Durant can't do it himself and OKC is actually getting outrebounded.. Not good but they go home 1-1.

At the same time, I just saw Captain America and it was AWESOME. It totally restored my faith in humanity after the shitstorm of Batman v Superman. However, some stuff didn't make sense to me.

Vision is supposed to pretty much be a God no? Like nobody should be able to even lay a hand on him, yet Scarlett Witch (the hot Olsen sister) can? Wtf? Also why wasn't the Hulk in this again? I'm guessing because he would have tipped the scales so unfairly to either side. GREAT movie though.

There's a theory that because Scarlet Witch's powers are derived from the same gem Vision has on his forehead, she can exercise a degree of control over it/him.

Banner took off at the end of Age of Ultron. I guess he's sick of being a hero or whatever it was that made him leave.

Civil War was the shit, best Marvel movie since Winter Soldier. Not sure which I prefer yet.

I know Banner took off I just thought that (after the fact) he would make teams completely unfair.

The theory is bullshit because the gym is an infinity stone so at what point would Scarlett Witch have come on contact with it?

Winter Soldier was good, I think this was better.

So OKC got kinda wrecked tbh. I'm surprised too. Didn't they beat these guys a couple days ago?

I don't much about bucketball. But seems to me like the opposing teams offense and defense was on point while OKC had a cringeworthy and laughable end.

I heard your name once before, Desmond, a long time ago. And now it lingers in my mind like an image from an old dream. I do not know where you are, or by what means you can hear me. But I know you are listening.

Well GSW is one of the best teams ever, you gotta play near perfect to beat them and OKC didn't last night.

Westbrook's shots were shit, Durant turned the ball over more than a rookiee PG, and in their best category, which is rebounding the ball, OKC was worse than GSW. They lost the game where they should dominate.

Who is Desmond? Because it's not Fated. 😛

Is it the same Desmond from Lost?

It's a father speaking to his child, Aub. Or at least the Prophet to the deliverer.

Maybe this will help: We are gone now from this world. All of us. We can do no more. The rest is up to you... Desmond

EDIT: Tbh, Joker, that analogy is strictly on point.

I don't get it.

Ass Creed.

Okay. I still don't get it. Stop being so vague. 🙁

Desmond Miles, Aub.

Who are we, who have been blessed to share our stories like this? To speak across centuries!

Guess I'm not meant to know. *shrug*

It's a quote from the game Assassins Creed 2, but idk what it suppose to mean here.

I never played that one.

In a few short months my life changed forever. I know my easiest days are behind me, but I don't want them back – not now. My name is Desmond Miles, and I am an Assassin. I am an Assassin.

I did once, but never finished it.

AC2 is the best one

What do you guys think of the upcoming movie?
