From a pragmatic point of view definitely. Poland borders with countries that are closely tied in with Putin's first hemisphere of influence, Poland is essentially the most important border NATO has; sure, it borders with Belarus and Ukraine only, but these countries and their borders are unreliable and dependent, especially Belarus. Russia is by far the most... unstable country of everything outside NATO, besides North Korea of course. Not to mention Poland on its own sucks in terms of our own military forces. Current Defense Ministry is a joke, spending money and time on things not aligned with the actual defense (like this hole Smoleńsk plane stuff). Even then, our preparations for World Youth Day and their security just demonstrates Poland can't handle that stuff on its own. Totally.
Russia's diplomats bragging about how rude it is to put a missile defense system in Poland is even more of a sign it should be done. If they don't plan anything stupid, why do they feel "troubled" by the presence of a defense system lmao?
from my personal point of view we shouldn't get any help from NATO, let us burn and hope Germany takes over what remains of Poland, we sure can't establish any legitimate country on our own
