Jean's always been the most powerful mutant as the Pheonix I think. She was going toe to toe with Galactus iirc.

Bartlander is one of the most respected members on KMC, Xtasy, and as the Site Head Manager, I don't think he can get banned. I'm not an expert on elite politics of KMC though.

I remember reading it. Maybe it was a different pheonix but I do remember them fighting when Galactus tried eating some alien planet and Galactus eventual started running on fumes and she got the upper hand but them Galactus pointed out that to fight him she was unwittingly siphoning life out of the nearby planet, killing the very people she was trying to protect so she backed off and he went to find a snack.

Or something like that.
