I'm not going to comment on Islam as a religion. Unlike probably anyone else that isn't Muslim here, I've actually read the Quran, and it's some good shit in there. Killing infidels and making women half people(It's a religion of peace though).
That being said, Trump doesn't want to get rid of Muslims because that would be unconstitutional. He said he wants to stop the influx of refugees from known terrorist areas.

The New Testament actually doesn't recommend killing nonbelievers, or anyone for that matter, but it's pretty retarded in other ways. None violent ways, but retarded all the same. Religious law also doesn't run our society in the West as we have separation of church and state, so it's hardly as damaging.

In fact, I think the majority of Muslims have a peaceful reading, but of course, you've read the Quran, so you're the expert here. mmm
