This is an interesting defense of why TPM (and jar jar in particular) is a valuable addition to the mythos.

I could think of several reasons as to why it's important. People just can't apparently see them, cause they just want to hate on it.

You can come up with a bunch of literary reasons for anything, but the efficacy for Jar Jar Binks was really bad, as we saw.

Eh, not like there haven't been characters like him in past movies across time. I was indifferent to him myself.

Interesting read, Jar Jar is still annoying (though the extent to which is blown out of proportion), but interesting read.

Besides. He's cute but a bit young

Update. Now he's got my number. :3

Watched Suicide Squad. Loved it.

You have very poor taste Syndicate.

You shut your whore mouth.

I don't understand the hate on SS. It was far from a masterpiece or a classic, but it was good for one watch.

There have been worse big-budget bombs than Suicide Squad. But not many of them, and not by much.

It was alright. Not interested in ever seeing it again, though.

Catwoman set the bar real low. Batman and Robin even lower.

Let's all be glad Suicide Squad didn't have bat nipples or a woman playing with a ball of yarn tbfh

As much as it pains me to say, for someone known as "DC" after all, DC, as a company can't make quality movies for shit these days.

Sans the Nolan trilogy, they have so many "bad" films [Green Lantern, Jonah Hex, Superman Returns, Catwoman, BvS to many, etc] It's a shame.

Maybe it's because the MCU set status quo for comic cinema or some shit, but really, DC can't catch a break in regards to a movie that doesn't include Bruce Wayne, and Nolan.

Like, I mean, the main villains were a little hammy and there wasn't enough Joker but the cast was extremely solid and the character dynamics were funny as hell. Action was great, loved the music choices for the soundtrack.

I'd watch it again tbh. All in all I really enjoyed it.

SS was a 6.5/10 IMO

I'm kind of glad Joker wasn't in it as much though tbh, I really wasn't impressed with Leto's performance

He either should've been in it more, or not at all. Was pretty irrelevant all things considered.

I mean, he kind of added to Harley's story a bit more? But other than that, yeah.

He had too much screen time just to explain why Harley is insane and to give her an excuse to get close to Enchantress for the cheap shot.

He was just a viewer bait.

Tbh. 👆

Also I thought Leto's performance was solid.
