You know it occurs to me, but when you think about it. Why is it so ridiculous when you see Troopers, Smugglers, Mercs, Beasts and so on able to fight and do well against the named characters we know? Seeing as we see this a few times within the SWU.

Star Wars isn't like comics, they don't have a bunch of super powered characters that are all together in one timeline, that all fit together and could come across with one another.

So the next best thing is what? Have these other guys, with various equipment, tactics and so on come in and fight them, or have giant beasts come and fight them. Now ok these guys aren't Force Users, but do they really need to be?

Given that they won't fight like a Force User and would have access to things that a Force User wouldn't have, this makes interesting scenarios.

Yes given if the Force User is powerful enough, this won't really mean much...

But then...wouldn't this just be similar to a comic character fighting another comic character and completely outclassing them in every conceivable way?

Just food for thought, I hope I explained this right to get my meaning across.
