Incomparable tbh, she inherited an absolute shit show, she's effectively a dictator because she has absolutely no mandate to govern when it comes to Brexit negotiations... but for such a terrible job to inherit, she's doing well.

Alienating a lot of the conservative base though, she's very centrist for someone who appointed such a right wing government.

Do you think Cameron made a good decision to resign?

Is your guys's right wing batshit too lol

Not really, you guys have a shifted political spectrum compared to us. What we consider centrist you'd probably consider right wing. Our far right has no power though, unlike yours 😛

As for Cameron resigning, I sympathise with him but don't really have an opinion on whether it was the right decision.

The right and the left are only different in the demographics they go after. Let's be honest.

And their policies and values... 😕

😆

Trump wants to be a war-monger against ISIS; Clinton wants to be a war-monger against Russia and Iran.

It's not like marriage equality, abortion rights, social welfare, climate change, LGBT rights, immigration, and tax codes are relevant differences or anything. Saying "they're both the same!" is an easy way to fit into the nihilistic crowd, but it doesn't remotely reflect reality.

Both parties are full of corrupt assholes.

To be fair, they're also largely defined by the demographics of the nation, Freshest is right. The reason our "right wing" is "less right wing" than yours is simply because the UK tends to be a far more progressive nation than the US.

Progressive. Regressive. One of those. Though we'll get there soon enough. Just give a few more years.

Considering Clinton, champion of teh wimminz and minorities, was against almost all those things a decade or so ago, yeah it is. All that shit is mainstream in America now, in case you haven't noticed. So both parties reorganized. Do you know how many Republicans back Hilary? Are they now Democrats because they support her policies? Or are they for that money she's going to save them? I'm guessing it's the latter.

Both candidates suck.

So in other words because Fresh is butthurt about his own crappy politicians, he's decided that the whole thing is a sham. 🙂

If I ever met TI, I'd probably punch him. 🙂

Uh...no. I'm about equality of opportunity, as an egalitarian, whereas your country is more about equality of outcome. I consider favoring one for things outside of their control, such as race and gender, are just as bad when leveled against men and whites as they were when leveled against women and PoCs. But you wouldn't understand that Beni. I didn't suddenly disapprove of the regressive left just because of Clinton or Trump. It's been a problem for some time now, and it's not something I like where I have to disagree with the left more and more, despite being fairly left leaning myself.

👆

Equality is only good when it's liberating (ie. equal opportunity), but when it's constricting (making some great effort to equalize everyone's lives when some people have earned more than others) it's such bullshit.

Nice speech, what does that have to do with your point? Lol.

I'd imagine progressive, by your standards. Far less affirmative action in the U.K. than the US, we seem to have already insituted what someone like you would define as progressive (correct me if I'm wrong in assuming that) and the majority of the country seems pretty happy where we are mmm
