Why do you put Brady over Manning?

Superior playoff stats, more championships, better in the clutch and, while I hate to use this in any sports argument, the intensity and fire he brings to the team.

Pretty sure Manning actually has better individual playoff stats; championships are a team accomplishment; Manning has more game winning drives; both are obsessed enough with football that I'm not sure if either can be classified as more intense.

*shrug* I guess it's partially the Packer in me. Trying to see it objectively, though, I still wouldn't take Brees or Marino over Favre in his prime. Young, maybe. I think Favre is underrated by some people, but he should easily rank in the top 10 of everyone's list.

I'm not sure it's possible to quantify this, but... Manning is known for choking in big games. If it wasn't for that, he'd have one more SB under his belt, imho. He plays great almost in every scenario, and in SB he might play great during 3 and a half quarters, but when it matters most, I'd rather have Brady in my roster. Besides, Manning didn't play that much better than Brady to the point that I'd pick him over Brady for the season/first playoff games, tbh.

Although I agree championships are team accomplishments, it's noticeable when one is earned or lost mostly due to QB play. I think a case that could be made against Brady is having the best coach in history for all these years right at his side.

People say Manning chokes in "big situations", yet he has the most game winning drives of all time, and one of the highest winning percentages when down in the 4th quarter ever. In the playoffs, his stats are better than Brady's. I'm not saying he's better, but saying he isn't clutch is just wrong IMHO.

Taris at least has Mission Vao.
