And that's not even a joke. Unless I just take things too seriously here it seems like everybody in this forum doesn't care a wit for each other for the most part. I wouldn't expect them to care about blunt honesty regarding a famous person's death.

No, the story of an incredibly bright woman who died thirty years too soon simply because she was born in the wrong place at the wrong time to the wrong family affected me. It affected a lot of people, by the look of things. It's not really the person, it's the story. How someone can grow up in such a public spotlight, but gain so little help for rather blatantly obvious issues, despite coming from a privellaged background. Following that, to watch them actually try and make something positive of their life despite a quite blatant addiction problem/behavioural disorder?
She was tragic, and she died too soon. That's why I think people care, anyway.
