There was still time for someone to be monitoring the cameras to see who it was that lowered the shields that suddenly went away. They don't have to retrieve any information.

It wouldn't be all that hard to say "Oh hey look, one of our high FO officers just shut down the shield generators", the base didn't immediately blow up just because the shields went down.
If no one was monitoring them, then that is moronic of the FO. When that room should be monitored, since it controls the shields of their valuable superweapon.
But anyway I'm sure she'll get her just due at some point. If not because of that, then something else.

Well no one realized Han Solo was there until Kylo sensed him so I don't think they were monitoring it. Regardless, they had bigger things going on shortly afterwards and I expect most of the grunts failed to get off Starkiller base regardless.

Hmm....but that's Han Solo...eh, I guess the FO is pretty lax on their security then, which is extremely stupid. I mean ok, it would be fine if it was just some research facility or something, but a superweapon?...Yeah there's no justifying to not having tight security.

DS detention level, the seconds after the security detail and cameras were shot out, they contacted the room and sent a squad. They had cameras(or whatever they were) for a secured room and weren't ducking around when it all went to hell.
