Haha yep. Except sources state otherwise 👆 the brothers were hindered.
Can you remember in that same fight when Maul telekintically dominates Kenobi and then pulls down his shuttle whilst injured?

You want a Raven sig?
A few weeks ago I arbitrarily decided to turn on the TV and go channel surfing (mind you, it's rare for me to touch a tv remote more than 5 times per year) when I stumbled upon the original teen titans on cartoon network.
In that moment I was slammed by nostalgia like I've never experienced before. What made it even more odd was that I had never given teen titans a thought since 2013 when the abomination known as GO! came out.
So I later did some Youtube browsing of memorable moments from the series only to discover a new admiration towards Raven. The more and more I re-watched scenes, the more I became attracted towards her personality until I finally caved. As a child I always thought Raven was "cool", but never could really relate to her as I did now.
To be completely honest I had no idea that the teen titans cartoon characters—aside from Robin—were based of of DC comics until recently. While I may pick up a comic eventually, I'm interested in how Raven is portrayed much more than I am about her feats and powers.
Unfortunately my enthusiasm for Raven has dropped just a tad in the past week as, after more exploring, I've realized that she is not inherently evil and dark as I had hoped for. She's a normal teenager forced to control a demonic side to her. She doesn't choose to suppress her emotions and act stoically; she has to. That is why I had originally "shipped" her and Dooku though I now see that while they may share some behaviors, it's for completely different reasons. Dooku was a good person, turned idealist, turned psychopathic evil while Raven was (going off of the TV show—I know it's different in the comics) dark from the beginning, eventually defeats Trigon hence that dark side to her, and becomes more like a normal, innocent teenager. My enthusiasm for her was almost completely destroyed when I found out that BB-Rae was a thing in the TV show, nevermind in the DC comics 😘.
So while I no-longer believe that Raven can serve as a role-model/spirit-animal for me the way Dooku does, I can still admire parts to her. I guess she's the closest thing to an ideal romantic partner that I've seen so far, though not perfect.
So yes, I'd like a Raven sig 🙂 . What's wrong with the way mine looks? /:

Respond to my post Myth. I need emotional support.
Raven is a better character for Dooku in all aspects, because of what you explained. I'd rather my role model be someone who has to stand up and fight with her inner demons every single day, and succeed, than a selfish, arrogant psychopath who hides whatever is left of his emotions and masks his actual evil just by being elegent.
Dooku is an exceptionally good character, to be sure, but he's not a role model nor is he someone who you should identify with if you need "emotional support". Quite the opposite, actually: Raven's the one who you should look up to simply because she's waging the toughest battle a human can wage: against one's self.

I just rewatched the episode when Starfire becomes trapped in the future only to see the other titans having spiraled into darkness and decay. The scene where she discovers Raven in an insane asylum due to years of her being isolated was absolutely heartbreaking; like, it almost made me cry.
A great character, but I mustn't let myself get carried away by nostalgia...

There's a lot of great porn of her too.
