Well, now that you ask. If you're implementing the Gray side of the force, wouldn't everyone want to be a Gray Jedi ? I mean, they can use all the force powers they want, don't have to apologize to the Jedi Order when they do something bad, but they don't have to do evil stuff either. They can do whatever they want. And it's GrAy Jedi by the way.

Well, it comes down to choice. Those who want to maximize Dark Side powers quicker can be Sith, but those who want to ride the fence (And they are out there) don't have to have a binary choice. I was also going to implement individual Force groups not affiliated with either, but I haven't gotten that far yet.
