Yea, the newest release. It took some getting used to, but I'm loving it. Everything runs faster and once I figured out how the program packages work it wasn't that hard to set up most of my old stuff fairly easily. I installed it on my netbook so really my main concern was Internet, RAR, and media codecs.
My netbook is pretty much my class workhorse. I take it everywhere for notes.

Linux is a buttload more efficient than windows. You don't have any BS in the background and you enhance your computer knowledge by learning how to run an operating system through the command prompt.

windows 97 ftw
You mean what windows 98 was originally called when it was expected to be released in 97.
Windows 98 was a great OS, but then so were a lot of things back in the day.
They have been made obsolete.

I've been spending a lot of time using the help system, learning how to use Terminal. It was kind of intimidating at first, but I'm starting to get the hang of it. I mean, I'm not some hardass master, but I've figured out enough to do basic functions.
